Alan B. Hughes, President Alan B. Hughes began serving as President of the Arkansas AFL-CIO in June of 1996. Prior to that, he served two years as Vice President of the State Federation. A member of Paper, Allied-Industrial, Chemical and Energy International Union (USW) Local 1327, he has held various local union offices, as well as President of the Texarkana Trades and Labor Council. Alan lives in Bismarck, he has two daughters and two grandsons. abhughes@swbell.net

David Stephens, Vice President David W. Stephens was elected Vice President of the Arkansas AFL-CIO in May of 2009; he currently serves as Assistant Business Manager and Secretary Treasurer of Local 295, IBEW in Little Rock. David resides in Guy along with his wife Amy and two daughters.

Ricky Belk, Secretary-Treasurer Ricky Belk was elected Secretary-Treasurer of the Arkansas AFL-CIO in June of 2005. He had served on the State Federation Executive Board since 1995. He is a member and past Local President of the Communications Workers of America Local 6502. Prior to being elected President he served the local as Executive Vice President for 15 years. Crystal McDaniel, Secretary Crystal McDaniel, Secretary, joined the staff of the State Federation in 2001. Crystal was brought up in a IBEW family and now she is a member of the Office and Professional Employees Union, Local 105. She graduated from Dollarway High School in 1996. Crystal lives in White Hall.
